Tucked away in the Appalachian Mountain Range,
I live in my Virginia Home.
My home is not fancy,
My home is just fine.
In my home theres nothing but sounds of wind,
In my home the wipoorwill sings its song,
While crickets rock the land to sleep.
Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall,
Each changing weather brings a new song home.
Here I long to stay, where the chipmunks play,
In my Virginia mountain home.
Seeing the mist rise to the sky,
Watching the trees dance through the night.
The Appalachian loves her people right.
I miss the holler so, I may not be there right now and the
place I grew up in may be gone, but the Appalachian Mountains are
my home. I miss Virginia, and will be leaving Wednesday to go
back to her.
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and that you will
still be here when I write again. Baby Doll I
hope all is well for you hun. You seem to be such
a sweet person and your stories always seem to cheer me
up, keep going and bless you.
See ya'll soon
