My Breech Baby

user

It was 1st September, time for my 38weeks pregnancy checkup- unexpectedly the Doctor informed that had to go for Breech procedure. My Baby's head still not engage yet.She has made an appointment with the hospital that I will be going for delivery.Went back home and started to cry NOT knowing if my baby will be fine going through this procedure. My hubby was very supportive trying to cheer me up .

Went to the hospital the next day ,feeling fearful and full of questions running in my mind .

Waited for a while for the procedure to begin and finally the doctor came start placing gel on my tummy. She started explaining the procedure to me and telling me not to worry. She explains before begins the procedure "Will grab your baby's head and behind, then will try to turn the tummy. Will last about 10mins.
So don't worry".
Gosh...looking at 4 doctors infront of you and having them taking turns trying to turn my baby's head due to unsuccesful attempt, makes me worried and mind kept running "what is happening and why is this happening to me now?"
After a full 10minutes procedure, the doctors explained that the procedure had failed. You have 2options- You can still go through  normal procedure by having the baby's leg out first or Caesaran. There will be a risk for normal procedure .Agreed to the C-Section and immediately the doctor gave me the date of admission 07th September, operation on 8th September. My heart was racing when was told " if we do not operate next week ,your baby will be in trouble".
After the whole experience and waited for my turn to be called on the 08th September, the doctor changed the date to 09th September due to emergency cases on that day. Finally on 09th September, my princess arrives and had given me a tearful joy in the operating room.By just looking at her, it is WORTH every pain, every minute and every experience I had gone through.
