Well i am a teenage girl and my life is anything but average. I know when parents get divorced it's tragic but mine split up at the time in my life when i needed my father most. It didn't help when my mom dated guys left and right. well i finall y ended up with a step dad that is 9 years older than my mom and is the leutenant of police. i can't do any thing with him around. i think there is something wrong wtih him because every time i start to like him he does something to screw it up. i don't know what posses me to be so independent around him but it must be in my nature now because i do it all the time. i don't let him into my life i never have but i can't keep fooling everyone because it keeps getting harded to do. i can't even say i love you too, i say love too really fast so it sounds like i said it. but i need some input becasue they don't really care what i think so anything would be nice. thanks.

U KNOW..THIS IS A TUFF SITUATION...I SEE THE PICTURE ON THE SIDE OF A MOTHER..I HAVE 2 KIDS..AND ALSO WENT THROUGH A DIVORCE. MY KIDS WERE SO UPSET, THERE GRADES DROPPED, THEY LASHED OUT, SHUT DOWN...IT WAS SO HARD FOR ALL OF US...UR MOTHER GETTING MARRIED AGAIN MUST GIVE U A LITTLE PEACE...KNOWING THAT SHE'S NOT DATING ANYMORE, SHE IS HOME WITH U...TRY AND BE OPEN WITH YOUR MOTHER..TALK HER, TELL HER HOW U FEEL...MAYBE SIT AND CHAT WITH UR STEP DAD...TALK TO HIM ABOUT 1 OF THE THINGS THAT BOTHER U...MAYBE SHARE SOMETHING U ACCOMPLISHED AT SCHOOL...SHARE A GOAL U HAVE WITH HIM...MAYBE BY SHARING THESE VERY IMPORTANT THINGS HE WILL OPEN UP TO U...AND BE A LIL NICER...I HOPE THINGS GET BETTER...STAY POSITIVE!!!

Report AbuseThe divorce of ur parents doesnt mean the end of your life! if ur mom has got strength and wish to date it means she is alive and happy I guess. I think its worse when a woman cant live the life she wants to live, because such a woman forgets about herself, about what does ity mean to be happy. Of course they love U, but let them have smth private! Let them live as they want, they are not little children and I guess they know better what they want!

Report AbuseHey dude i know what ur life is like except i don't have a step dad! But my parents got divorced when i was 6 and my sis was 3. Now i used to see my dad but don't anymore because he didnt really take care of us. Now i think he is married to someone i dont even know!! i saw them at Wal-mart and he didnt even look at us!!! Oh and bout the think with ur step dad, i have a step grandfather and he used to be that way until he got medicine. But now he is great and does stuff with us like a week ago he taut my sis how to ride a bike!!! well good luck with ur life
