Yes it is official, "Wine Talk: with Stu The Wine Guru" on BlogTalk Radio.com, has gone from a National show to an International show, within 1 month's time. Thanks to all of the listeners that got the word out globally it seems.

So how did this happen? Thank the internet and social media networking. This is a prime example of the "power of the people meets the power of the internet".

I started out wanting to talk about the wine industry, and wines that I recommend. I added in events going on around the country, and answering callers questions. Then I started a chat room to coincide with my live broadcast that listeners could chat in, and ask questions of me while I broadcast.

I have a great passion for wine, and the origins of it. I am constantly learning, reading, travelinfg to vineyards and wineries, attending tastings, speaking with wine producers and enjoying wine. I figured, wine enthuisasts of every level might gain something out of the knowledge and enthusiasm I have for it.

After writing articles, and reviewing wine for different internet portals, radio seemed like the logical next step. Since I started the show on October 17, 2009, the response has been swift and overwhelmingly positive. I recieved emails from people in Ireland, England, Japan and Australia who listened to the archived shows and liked them. They then told me they listened to a live show even with the time difference!? (thanks to the internet) and emailed me questions to be read on future shows.

All I can say is that I am extremely happy to do this show and welcome every person who listens.
To kick off my new day and time slot; Thursdays at 7pm est/ 4pm pst, my guest will be a wine making legend: Tom Eddy of Tom Eddy Wines. Anyone who has had his Cabs will probably agree they are some of the best you can buy. He will be on to discuss his wine, the industry and take calls.

I look forward to every show and it only gets better from here.
