no clue what to get

So my boyfriend and i have been dating for almost 7 months but have both liked eachother for 2 years.  Now that the holidays are coming around i have no idea what to get him. i gave him a dogtag that had a picture of us in santa cruz on the front and on the back it read Always and Forever 4-24-08.
now i have no clue what to get him. i want to refrain from getting him clothes or money.  He's hopefully coming down for my birthday, which is close to christmas. that's when the gift exchange will take place. 
We're both young, 16 to be exact, and both very much in love.  No i promise you we're not a young niave teen couple. our relationship has mainly been long distance because i moved. but we know that we can make it work.  We've never fought and sex isn't the only thing on our minds. yes our hormones rage at times, but that's not the basis of our relationship. I kinda want the gift to be sentimental and something that i can give to him in front of our parents.
I'm giving him a calendar of dates that are significan to us and for each month there's goi ng to be a picture of me dressed up to the occasion. but that's not really something we want our parents to see, it's not dirty but our parents don't need to know everythin that happens in our relationship.
