No Yellow No Brown

If you have a conversation with a mother of young kids or babies, it is sure to be discussed.  Poop! and Potty training.  Today, after a long, long week at work, I came home to the potty training battleground.  My 3 year old little girl has given up the potty and requested to have diapers again!  Of course, I refuse and remain head strong, after all think about the teasing she will get when she has to wear diapers to college, and head fast with no choice potty sitting (every 20 minutes 2-5 minutes on the pot).  7:30 rolls around and she has informed me her "pee pee" hurts.  It is red and irritated from her grabbing it, but this is the second day of complaints about her little bottom.  So I take her and Joey to urgent care.  No urine sample for the doctor of course (because she has been holding it for over 5 hours at this point).  With information gathered from Ms. Audrey and my ex, I also find out no poop for four days!  Long story short (and $30 doctor copay later), still no urine sample because the flood gates opened up (after we got home) and soaked through the pull up out to her shorts, nothing left for the sample cup.  Now my angels are asleep.  One with a urine catcher bag attached to her little girl parts, and the other in the crib in my room.  I am exhausted, worried and thinking about my routine for tomorrow morning.  My lemon to lemonade moment?...I did it by myself.  I didn't need help squatting on the urgent care bathroom floor with a baby on my hip, holding a urine cup between my Isabelle's leg.  We were fine.  Could of had help, ex offered to come help, but it is good to know that we are only as strong as we let ourselves be.
