Obama States "Change" ????

Since Obama's campaign he has promised big changes and little changes. I am very happy for him and his family, for he has the great honor of being The United States of America's president. So he has offered changes but my question is, besides our economy which can be fixed (it has been before if you don't recall), what is there to change? America has obesity problems, environmental issues (as does the rest of the world), and I wouldn't doubt that more kids are getting into trouble and high school drop out rates are rising. Those are things that were going and were in progress of being changed. In my own opinion Obama is changing things we don't need changed. This health care thing that he's trying to get going does not settle well with me.
I haven't paid much attention to the details of it so correct me if I’m wrong. Is he trying to get it to where illegal aliens have free health care, to where we have to wait in line for our doctor appointments? Well if that's anywhere near the truth, if I want that I’ll just take myself over to China, or maybe, being the impatient person that I am, I won't go to the doctor at all because I as the average person have no time what so ever to wait around for a week, or maybe a year for my doctors to tell me "Okay, let's have a look see at what was bothering you 1 year ago." Obama is a great man and I think he has a lot of potential to fix the problems we have instead of creating a whole new style of government and causing chaos.

So in conclusion, our government has been the same since day 1. George Washington made up his mind that this was how America was to be. And our problems with obesity, and pollution, and education were not due to our Government per se, but really it was just caused by man's inventions and evolution, and does Obama even really care about those issues? Should we really go along with Obama just because he puts the word change in our heads? And why should we change something that's been the same way for so long and has had no problems?

It scares me that Obama scares me. I'm a young girl and I shouldn't ever have to feel scared of the leader of my country.

Pretty smart for a "child"! Obama touted change and change is what Americans will get--whether it is what we want or not. Remember, he never said it would be a "good" change and none of the people voting for him stopped to ask "What kind of change are you talking about?" Now it is too late for this 4 year term; hopefully, we will have the option of voting him out during the next election. (If we still have the right to do so. . . )
