ONE STEP AT A TIME and STEP ASIDE

Alright, so I am already behind schedule for the day.  At least, I feel that way.  Now, of course I am in charge of scheduling my daily acitivities, so I can reschedule my schedule, and then I will be back on track.  I am very organized and work diligently most days. I also procrastinate and hesitate to complete certain tasks.  I am working more efficiently to stay on task, but I realize that I can only do one thing at a time.  So, today I take one step at a time to complete my priority task list.  I'll start with my A+ list, then move on to the A- list, and I guess I'll plan to have a B list, and then my "C" list will be my list of extra special things to do for me, today.

My A+ task list includes the following:

  1. Eat breakfast, which I usually skip to get straight into my work.
  2. Edit the synopsis more thoroughly, then email tracked changes.
  3. Listen to inspirational music throughout the day to keep my spirits up.
  4. Print additional address labels for case letters of support and gala event invitiations.
  5. Read motivational materials, at least one article, one daily affirmation for meditation and one chapter.
  6. Write for 15 minutes in the morning, then reflect on what I have written in the afternoon.
  7. Call caterer and filmmaker, so they can be in direct contact with one another.  delegate this task?

The A- list includes:

  1. Printing name tags for Mondays Rope Skipping Classes at BB faciliy.
  2. Preparing to lead Toastmasters meeting on Tuesday morning, including picking the "Word of the Day".
  3. Check team email messages.
  4. Check my personal email messages.
  5. Respond to email correspondence.
  6. Call photo editor ASAP.
  7. Call video editor ASAP.

My B list includes:

  • Checking out Zane's web site.
  • Ordering a couple of books for a friend.
  • Checking my personal account balances.
  • Beginning to track my daily spending.
  • Starting my personal health log.
  • Returning product to Bath & Bodyworks at UVM.
  • Picking up master mailing list and invitiations from volunteer.

My "Charryse" list includes:

  • Calling one of my best friends.
  • Visiting one of my best friends.
  • Purchasing a new shirt and/or CD.
  • Purchasing massage lotion or body butter.
  • Road trip to have dinner and spend a time with a friend, if possible.
  • Plan my work schedule for this week and get a good night's sleep.

These are my plans, but what says the Lord of the Universe.  I step aside and listen for his response.
