Out with a bang! Amy Winehouse botches $2 million an hour performance

Even big bucks can’t get Amy Winehouse to behave. Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich offered the singer $2 million an hour to perform on Thursday at the opening of his girlfriend's art gallery in Moscow. Amy boarded a plane in London, and we hear it was all down hill from there. An insider claims when she arrived, "she was in no condition to appear," and the singer’s handlers "spent two hours trying to pull her together.” Supposedly the party organizers discussed finding a replacement, but felt there wasn’t enough time. When she finally wobbled on stage at 12:30 am, Winehouse chain-smoked, threw her lighter at the audience, which she then flashed, not wearing any panties. "I heard that her singing was a little sloppy," says the source, "but she still put on a terrific show."
Sure, some of it may be an act, but we wish Amy would go to rehab. Do you think her situation is dire? [

She has an amazing voice and she's so talented, but she's just a mess. It's quite pathetic and disappointing to see talent wasted away on drugs and alcohol abuse. I can't believe her loved ones won't take action and see to it that she receives the proper medical attention. It's as if everyone gets satistfacion out of wanting to see her fail not only in her career, but as a human being. It might all be an act, and maybe I just have a big heart, but she really needs to get her LIFE straight.

There are many talented artists and musicians who don't smoke crack and put on fabulous performances, but there's just not enough entertainment value in that these days. The people who are making money don't actually care if she is sober or not, only that Amy is creating enough drama to warrant another headline. Britney Spears would be a similar example of this kind of exploitation.

Amy Winehouse; file under "things I don't get." Sounds like Britain's version of Britney Spears. Come on, daddy Winehouse, step in and sober up your baby girl before she shaves her head. No, wait, let her do that. Vast improvement over the rat's nest on her head now.

This woman is a mess; a wretched, frightening, desperately teetering on the edge of destruction mess! She looks lost. Talent is clearly not the issue, she's got that but obviously even that is of no use when you are so far into addiction. Of course she's botching opportunities and disassembling her career, her priority right now is worshipping her god - drugs! She needs to humble out, go on hiatus and get some serious help - she should spend some time getting healthy.

Amy Winehouse may be a mess, but thats her business. She has great talent and is huge in the entertainment business because of it. People love to see drama and love to kick people when their down, thats why Amy is so popular. Everyone keeps feeding into her problems.

i love this woman and she has all the potential in the world i just wish she knew what she was throwing away...one thing that could be worthwhile throwing away could be her idiot dependent husband Blake- who happens to be INCARSARATED....
