“I Sit And Watch”
(A poem about social predators at play)
I sit and watch
Your daily deed
My vision clear
You spread your seed
They cannot see
You’ve made them blind
Their innocence lost
Or left behind
Your greatest deed
In what you’ve done
Convince them not
That you’re the one
And so they roam
Upon this Earth
In perpetuation
Another birth
A soul is born
Innocence is true
Again the trick
In what you do
You claim their soul
A simpleton pleasure
Sex and seduction
Their greatest treasure
What they don’t know
In what you’ve done
Is claim their soles
Upon their fun
The cycle continues
The belt you notch
And what can I do
But sit and watch
Wishing everyone a beautiful day!
Peace, Love and Harmony,,, Shawn
P.S.,,, Actually, I don't just sit and watch; I write the
things I do as a means of trying to teach people to see the wolf
through the sheep's clothing.
