I've found that I really don't care much for the way Shine
is run. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure that even opperating a
Ladies Fashion site needs certain posting guidelines and thus the
word 'blokkers' that are installed in the programs for
posting online.
I understand sensativity, I do think a certain amount of respect
for people's disgust and reactionary levels are needed to
operate this site in peace, however in my opinion Yahoo has set
their own bar Way too low.
Shine is a great site. It has given me a chance to correspond with
people who's lives and personal universes were in many cases
completely foriegn to me.
I could not in my 'regular' life find the time to discuss
delta blues with a married housewife (I hate that word but
'Domestic engineer" is just plain dum as fuk), from
Florida who just got her four member brood off to school and was
now having coffee and a little 'me' time. I could or
would not find time to discuss political affiliations with a farmer
in Rural Texas who's angry that his son-in-law has no job, but
angrier that he can't find enough 'workers' to help
clear his fields because someone at I.N.S. has issues with grapes.
I would never have even considered discussing the war in Iraq with
someone who would picket an abortion clinic or ever in my wildest
imagination thought I would spend hours discussing growing up in
the seventies and Rock and Roll with an Entertainment Attorney from
SoCal. Hell the only time I even accept the existance of Lawyers is
when I see things like Bernie Maddoff's vacation arraingements,
yet I had more in common with this lady (Hi G.G.), than I do with
most of the people I know out here (Gender not withstanding). Nor
any of the many conversations I've had here.
However, I think a multi-National, Interglobal, Monopoly like Yahoo
could use a little more research and developement into "Free
exchange of Ideas", and with the advances they have in
software I DO NOT BELIEVE CHATTER IS AS SPORADIC AS THEY CLAIM.
But I will be on commenting, so in that view I will leave open a
response page.

My sister sent it to me...I got to tell you I cried like a baby and I am not a cryer by nature..shed too many tears over the years and have to dig deep to find some now. Got an email from Robert Randolph about their new release single...LOVE this young man and his music!

Emma; I want it perfect. However if you really want to increase your suspense, e-mail me, I'll send you the first page. You see I did a bio on her and research was very tough. Almost all medical records, hospital records and police ledgers were destroyed by the fire. Luckily her son did survive and St Mary's Hospital on Stanyan was one of the few that didn't burn to the ground after the quake.
I want all of my research, audio tapes, video tapes, movie and documentation digitized an cataloged. I'm gonna get a little questioning on this one, I want to be able to provide substantiated possibilities...But her bio is the first chapter.
