Practice, as usual...

Practice makes perfect. So they say. They are right. So I keep on practicing with the new les paul. What a wonderful guitar. Actually, I didn't know I was this good. Really. And also, the ease of playing this guitar makes it so much more fun to play, and coming up with new note sequences, trying new ways of playing over chord sequences, getting that real 'jazz' feel, making it sound much more pro.  Yup. Right now discovering things about chord sequences I've been practicing a long time, and just now it shows to me they are so easy to play. A new pattern for getting things together, and it's so smooth.  Tomorrow it's time for a new trip to the local jazz club, monday night concert, Sege Johansson sextet, probably superb. Their bass player, Bo Gatu, is known for his sejour in Argentina for ten years, playing with, among others, Hector Bingert and Gustavo Bergalli. Should be great. Here's a picture of my new les paul:

Great, eh?

Les Paul was a wonderful man, personally and professionally. His influence on the world of music will and should be revered. God bless you, Les! And thank you!

Yeah, I sure thank him for this guitar. I mean, for jazz guitar it's the perfect match, listening to Ulf Wakenius and dreaming. It's so good. Full, the epitome of jazz guitar sounds. Complete.
