- Stopping and starting is easier if your partner knows the score. This is just what it sounds like - either stop moving or actually pull out and remain still for a moment or too when the urge to ejaculate prematurely strikes. This is the same concept as you employed with masturbation practice, just with your partner participating. You can use this method during manual and oral stimulation or during full blown sex - just stop… and start again when the urgency passes.
PC muscle relaxation
Concentrate on keeping PC muscles relaxed while masturbating, you can go for a very long time without having that sensation of an impending orgasm. Once you've practiced enough to keep your PC muscle relaxed even past the point of ejaculation, about a few seconds after you start ejaculating, you can finally clench and almost blow your mind with the resultant intensity.
Keep an erection after ejaculation
Stroke to the point that you are ready to ejaculate but then do not touch your penis and relax all of your muscles. By relaxing you will be able to maintain an erection after ejaculation. Withdraw at the point of orgasm, so there's no additional stimulation to the penis, ejaculate without orgasming, then resume the sex. You can come quite a few times this way giving your partner enough time and penetration to get there too. One of the best techniques to last longer in bed!
Masters and Johnson method
- The Masters and Johnson method (developed by two American therapists) involves having your partner wrap her hand around the shaft of the penis in a full handed grip, with her index finger curled firmly across the wide part of the head and her middle finger gripping the shaft just under the ridge. A firm squeeze when you tell her you are getting to close to climax and the urge to ejaculate should dissipate.
- Variations on the Masters and Johnson include simply squeezing hard just at the base of the penis, or pinching the head firmly to stop impending ejaculation. This can help in conjunction with the ‘start and stop’ method if simply stopping isn’t enough to fight back orgasm.
Practice masterbating
- Practice masturbating. The trick is to start with a dry hand, and masturbate at least twice a day. Bring yourself almost to the point of orgasm, and stop. Have a cold wet rag handy if you need to and drape yourself for a minute. Start again, and stop yourself. Don’t let yourself ejaculate until the fourth time. Soon it will be easier to calm down as soon as you pause your hand action, and you can step up the challenge by masturbating with a wet hand, or using a warmed lubricant.
Kegel exercises The Kegel muscle is the one you use when you are taking a leak in the woods and you think you hear something - it tenses and abruptly shuts off the tap. You actually want to learn to relax this muscle to bring yourself back from brink. To learn how to tense and relax this muscle, just practice stopping and starting your flow when urinating. Once you learn the feeling, you can practice anywhere, anytime. During sex you can do a few Kegels to relax the tension when you start to get ahead of yourself.
