"American Psycho" redux: Christian Bale’s F-bomb rant

Remember over the summer when “The Dark Knight” came out and everyone was making accusations that Christian Bale aka Batman was no hero off-screen? There were stories about him getting into verbal and physical altercations with family members and throwing tantrums on the set of his upcoming movie “Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins.” Well, at the time he was dismissed after being arrested for assault in Europe, and no one had any concrete evidence of wrong-doing by the caped crusader. Until now.

Someone on the set of “Terminator Salvation” caught Bale on audio tape during a lengthy, expletive-filled tirade against Shane Hurlbut, "Terminator's" director of cinematography, after he allegedly walked into the actor's shot.

"I want you off the f---ing set, you p---k!" Bale screamed as Hurlbut can be heard quietly apologizing. "Don't just be sorry--think for one f---ing second. What the f--- are you doing?!"

Apparently producers sent the audio to their insurance company in case Bale walked off the film, and now TMZ got their hands on the clip where the actor drops a whopping 35 F-bombs. We think Bale should look into starring in a sequel to his infamous film, “American Psycho.”

Listen to the clip below (again, it’s full of profanity, so be warned if you’re trying to play this at work). Does this change your opinion of Christian Bale or do you think a lot of actors throw tantrums on set? [EW]

Leave Christian alone, he is awesome. He was probably right the guy was obviously messing around. He is a serious well respected actor, I can't see him blowing up like that for no good reason.

Yeah Bale's got a temper - he probably needs some anger management therapy but hey, I would not want him any other way. The guy rocks.

Wow he sounds like a big jerk who's looking for some drama. I think actors are given too much status priority in situations like these -- it's obvious the guy isn't standing up to him because his job would've been at stake if he did stand up to Bale.

Too many celebrities think that 'non-celebrities' have to cower in awe when they're around -- isn't it Christian Bale's job to listen to direction from the people directing the movie? He sounds like an overpaid, childish know-it-all -- he didn't even give the guy a chance to explain himself .. maybe it was an accident!

If you've ever acted in a movie had some crew member walk through your eyeline, then you understand why he went off on the guy... Christian's fine -- leave him alone...

Would you all still love him if he yelled at you like that for four min.? I doubt it. He really needs to step back and examine his anger issues. Yeah--maybe it was an annoying thing for the guy to walk on scene but he did not deserve to be publicly humiliated by an actor on a power trip.

All of you would sue the pants off of any boss that spoke to you like that so cutting him a break is hypocritical.

He's a good actor--but if anyone talked to me or anyone in my family like, that it would be gloves off.
