"Living Lohan": Daddy Michael gets in on the crazy action

Lindsay Lohan’s was notably absent from her family's reality show that debuted last night. Did you catch it? Embarrassingly enough, it’s been added to our dvr queue solely to watch the train wreck that is Dina Lohan, and try and uncover whether or not youngest daughter Ali is the next rehab bound celeb.
Well you’ll be delighted to know, no family member goes left behind! Michael Lohan, who is known for going off on his ex-wife and kiddies to the media, has signed on to do a blog for OK! Magazine about Living Lohan following every weekly episode. Who needs Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen?

Check out Michael’s first blog entry on Living Lohan:

"EPISODE 1: "MOMMY WILL FIX IT", MAY 26, 2008

Soooooo, you want a comment on the first episode of Living Lohan?

Well, let's see… If I were to look at things from a wordly perspective, I would probably have a lot to say about exploitation, hypocrisy and even deception and maybe at a later date, I might just do so.

For now, let's just say I'm still trying to figure out if this show is about managing Ali's career and being a "real" mother, or reading tabloids.

I've had a sneak peek at some future episodes and I will say that some of the people Dina surrounds the kids with still concerns me again, I can address that when they appear on the show. I just hope Dina takes the high road like a Lohan would and rights these wrongs.

If this show is about the being a mother and a manager, the most important thing is to set a good example by instilling positive values, and doing what's right for the kid's sake. Not for our own!
I wish Ali, Cody and Dina the best on the show and pray that they get what they want out of it.

-Michael"

Dina and Ali claim the show's purpose is for setting the record straight that their fam is totally normal. What do you think? Are the Lohans doomed? [Perez]

I think life is what you make it. If they made it this far by being the lap talk of fame and not ashamed who am I to complain, do the damn thing it's nothing but entertainment to me, RIGHT..... LOL

I watched this on E! today, and is it so embarrassing to say it was actually kind of entertaining?

It was actually kind of entertaining.

Of course, I'm the type of person who enjoys grinning through the corny-ness of Zoey 101 and Hannah Montana (not to mention the occasional rerun of Saved by the Bell or Diff'rent Strokes). But Ali's scarily deep voice and the slightest hints of drama (a necessity, of course) makes for an even more addicting reality show fix.

    I'll never watch it again.

Get the kid's spot in rehab prepared.. she's gonna need it. No, I didn't watch the show and don't plan to ever see it. I don't need to watch it to see what's ahead.

Take the high road "like a Lohan." I laughed so hard at that I nearly choked.

This show is exploitation at its worst level. Dina Lohan clearly wants to be famous herself and will use her children to be famous. I cannot stand that woman and I will never watch that show. Look what they did to Lindsay Lohan. I can't believe their other daughter wants to end up the same way. Insane.

I watched, and it looks like the Mom, needs help. It looks like she wants the limelight and will use anyone in her family to be in it. I am a Mom and I hope she means it when she said that she will protect her children, when is going to start?
