Well now that baths have been given and clothes have been laid out and everyone is in their beds. It is time for mom to have alittle down time. How many of you just wait for those moments you can just take a break out of being at everyone's beck and call? I know that some days I pray for those moments and other days it feels like they are here to fast. Those a they days I say that my children are angels...lol..they are such a joy to be around, no fighting, yelling.....ahhh...those are the days. LOL. I know we all have them.
I thought I would get on here and ask...What do you all do when you have those quiet times just to do what you want to? Play games? Call a friend? I'm just interested in what other mommy's do with their quiet time after the work of the day is finished.
I personally like to play games on pogo and check up and catch up with family and friends on myspace. Sometimes I call my mom just to chat without a bunch of background noise...aka..the kids playing and yelling.
So, if your up for sharing I would love to hear from you all. Have a great night.

Report AbuseHi I'm a stay at home mom of 4 kids and I totally know the feeling.
After my kids go to bed I usually clean up a bit and then go online. I used to just watch T.V. or a movie and just veg out but we moved that into our bedroom cause we decided it was too distracting for everyone. And since that's where the baby sleeps, well I don't do that anymore. Also, my husband and I have decided that every night before bed we would study the scriptures together. At first I wasn't that excited about it, but it has really brought us closer together since we started and our home has a new kind of peaceful feeling to it. Anyway, that's what I do! Good luck with your move Friday!
