Relaxed Hair: Back on Track to Growth

user

It's been about 2 years since I recieved my first relaxer. I can remember the day. I was so nervous, yet excited to see the results. And it turned out great! It was down to my shoulder-blades, shiny, and a dark brown.

Now, these 2 years later, my hair has broken off to about my shoulders. The back is long somewhat but it is nothing like the condition it was before.

Of course I know relaxers are damaging and this is part of the inevitable tear of damaged hair... (and for those to whom this does not apply, what is your secret?!) But now, I am on the road to recovery. I have seen my errors, changed my ways, and am now traveling to that light- of healthy hair.

To aid in my travel, I recently bought Organic Root Stimulator Olive Oil Hair Lotion. I read that hair oil is too harsh on relaxed hair and it clogs the follicles (because I did love me some Magic Sheen...) but I'm hoping this will help take the place and add moisture. So far, my hair has improved in moisture. Though after I first apply it, my hair is a little...thick, I've noticed a great decrease in breakage. Or maybe that's just because I actually applied something to it...

Well, I'll see how it goes...It's been about a week since I've started using the lotion...

time is everything if you want perfect hair then wait grow it out. if you like natural then try the natural look and start over. hair grows and regrows. I'm a perfect expert and if someone gives you advice you can always take it or leave it. PEOPLE don't make you look the way you want you make yourslef look the way you want. Am I right or no?

So take few steps and deep breaths and watch the time go by.
