We’re not sure why we’re so excited, but supposedly a romance is in bloom between co-stars Winona and Keanu on the set of The Private Lives of Pippa Lee. The stars have been spending a lot of time in each other’s trailers and "they are also always hugging on the set," says an insider. "The chemistry is really electric." Wow! Apparently Keanu even brought the OG Wino back to his NYC apartment during a break while filiming in Connecticut.
We really don’t wanna jump the gun here, but there are so many reasons Wineanu (Keona? They deserve a moniker better than Brangelina!) must happen. Namely:
1. They were made famous by cult hits in the 80s (Heathers vs. Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure), made us fall in love with them again in the 90s (Edward Scissorhands vs. Speed), gained more credibility in the early 2000s (Girl, Interrupted vs. The Matrix) and currently suck at life.
2. Both have suffered horrible relationships in real life, but survived coupledom together in Bram Stoker’s Dracula and A Scanner Darkly.
3. They make bad decisions. Winona stole from Saks, Keanu made Street Kings. Loveable failures stick together and don’t pass judgment.
