I really do not care what restaurant is serving this or the fact that they are charging over-the-top prices for this mess below.................I don't want that BLT. NO, NO, NO !
I want sandwiches that have been around since my Dad got off the boat. I want old regional flavors, breads made from wrinkled hard working hands and the freshest ingredients available:
I want to go to New York City and be confident that I can have a Katz Pastrami on Rye without the fuss and the muss:
We all have regional sandwiches that we enjoy and when traveling we seek out the local Po Boy, Fish Fry, or Philly Cheese steak................................Here is my all time favorite from the Buffalo N.Y. area:
It is called Beef on Kummelweck. An incredibly moist combination of steamship round medium rare roast beef spread with a horseradish cream sauce (or not) and the top roll dunked in the au jus before serving..............no cheese, lettuce tomato. Caraway seed and course salt adorn the bun.

Have you invented a really unusual sandwich? My husbands favorite: Wonder Bread, French fries, butter, ketchup and Egg Foo Yung. He sleeps alone a lot!!!!!!!!! Talk to me. We are losing our constitutional rights, our right to bear whatever......the right to publicly mumble under our breath... but please folks we need to keep our sandwiches out of the hands of Chefs who Wannabe short order cooks.

My son and some of his friends are Vegans...........nothing I can do about it!!!! I made them this Tempeh, Lettuce and Tomato sandwich grilled in soy butter. It was delicious and very filling. It also had soy cheese............not bad!!!!
I ended up putting some black olives and a few sprouts on it! For me, I needed some avocado slices.
For Breakfast I love a simple thin rib eye steak and poached egg on the best toasted French bread available...................Ummmmmmmmmmmmmm!
The weather is still on the cooler side so I thought we could have some pulled pork.......
