Report AbuseNo not ever too tired for you my friend! How's it going? Sorry my hours are so irregular. I cook at a very touristy spot, so my summer hours are somewhat irregular. My scheduled time is Tue/Wed-5:00am-3pm.Thur-Sat,1pm-9pm,although I don't often get out before 10. I work most Sundays when the other cooks can't handle it, and do the paperwork with my boss on Mondays!!!! Not much downtime! But with so many here, the money is needed!!!!!

Report AbuseHey check out Broken Heart. She needs help. Read her profile, she is a Christian lady I think going through a tough spot. The tone of her text kinda worried me!

Report AbuseAs it did me. I commented shortly after you and I agree she sounds very depressed. Also,if you read one of her earlier posts, she is bipolar and they are very prone to deep depression. She said she was so tired,I asked her not to go to bed but to stay up and talk to one of us. I also said if she could not get past the pain to pray that we would for her. Does that sound right to you?

Report AbuseI know the feeling of the need for all the money you can earn. My son is in that position now. He and fiancée and their 2 yr old are renting a house and she agreed to pay half. She has a good job. Well, she does not seem to remember that agreement and then she got sick, needed an operation on her neck (she should be able to return to work in 4 weeks) so even less money. He is working as many hours as he can and doing side jobs (remodeling &/or electrical work)He looks like he has aged 10 years. Thank God I am not raising a family now--it is just too hard! I say that to you who has the weight of 3 families on you shoulders. You are a model of what a mother can do!!!

Report AbuseAs mothers, I don't think you really can do much else! My son has informed me that he is interested in joining the Army, and plans to see recruiter next week. I support him in this, of course, but still....we ARE at war, and I worry. So I can only pray God keep him and take care of him when mama's eyes and arms don't reach that far!

Report AbuseCyndi, yes I got confirmation within about 5 min. So,remember i am a novice at this computer thing. So, first I entered the address she listed,I filled out the profile that they asked for, entered and then exited. Then I got 3 emails of acceptance, entered, one message stating she (rusty shoe) thought this would work. I entered that I agreed but not sure how it worked.Did you see anywhere where you can see who is on when you are? Confused already!
Oh Lord,Cyndi-- the son whose girlfriend is pregnant? What branch is he enlisting in? Tell him to pick Air Force if he can. I lived in Ft.WaltonBeach when we first moved to Florida. I did not realize that there really is not a big town of Ft.Walton, it is just the city where the airmen from Eglin AFB,the largest in the world, live. I had two of my kids in AirForce and one in Navy. I think if he is planning on marriage to girlfriend while he is in military, the housing for the Air Force seems great. Of course, Military is military and yes,we are at war. Is he firm on Army??

Report AbuseVery firm. He has friend who is a staff seargent. He thinks military benifits and education compensate for the downsides. And he is a believer in the war we are in. I support our troops as well, and know that carreer wise, the military is a step up in life. Besides, I do think they will instill a personal pride and discipline in him that he somewhat lacks. All I can do is pray for the best I guess and learn to use web-cam!
