SEPARATION!..............one year later..............DIVORCE!

is there any way to speed up the process if both parties agree not to work it out?

    Momma P.

Not unless You have a Good Lawyer and all YOUR ducks in a row!

I was served my papers from hubby in May!

    No kids involved Thank Goodness!

He left, A truck driver hardly home anyway, and on one home visit

looooonng story short, went back on road and the next thing I know papers!

So after damn paperwork back and forth forever it seemed.

Of course myself doing all the leg work!

Not alot of help from lawyer except forwarding my info. to his lawyer!

I called him said I was feed up with lawyer and expence, by the way I reminded him HE was paying for!

I set up a meeting with the 2 of us and we wrote out what we expected from each other! Hashed out differences on things and finally came to an agreement. His lawyer wrote it up. I dismissed my lawyer,

By the way has to be done ethically between the 2 lawyers!

Got our agreement back from lawyer went had it notorized signed , back to lawyer , to judge signed off on mutual agreement.

    Done Dec. 23rd.

If you can't mutually agree, Get Your Stuff, papers, finaciall needs together and submit to lawyer to take to judge. The judge will decide. If your hubby doesn't want divorce, Petition courts again.

My situation was resolved with good outcome.

    Don't know about yours.

    Hopefully well.

Didn't mean to go on and on.

Doesn't seem to have really answered your question.

    Good Luck!
