Slap on the wrist: Lindsay falls off the wagon (again)

Over the weekend, Lindsay openly fell off the wagon when she accompanied DJ gal pal Samantha Ronson to a gig at Times Square's Hawaiian Tropic Zone. She was reportedly drinking Red Bull and vodkas, and doing some hoochie coochie dancing to Britney Spears and Madonna. Ah, the life of a recovering addict.

Personally, I could care less about Lindsay Lohan and her antics, but I do wish she'd get a grip on reality and realize her actions has caused her career and reputation to suffer. I remember seeing her in the Disney remake of Parent Trap and being absolutely charmed by her. She was fantastic in Freaky Friday, and she helped make Mean Girls a classic teen flick. Now, nary a movie house wants to risk her liability on a film.

As for her "friend" Samantha Ronson, it bothers me that she would enable Lindsay's behavior. I sometimes fantasize about founding an institution in Hollywood -- it'd be like a halfway house for making friends, and people like Paris and Lindsay would leave knowing the true meaning of friendship! Ah, wouldn't that be nice? [People]

She's an addict with access to a lot of money. She has yet to hit the rock bottom of addiction and in the meantime we get to sit around and watch this pathetic train wreck. The legal system is content to give her dangerous antics a slap on the wrist, and she has yet to really face responsibility for her actions. Her story is nothing new. Chances she'll have a rather tragic end like so many before her.

    Listen up~

Lindsay, I know what you are doing through and I'm here to tell you, you are not alone. YOU know what it is that will ultimately make a huge difference in your life and will help you rely on other means to find your true happiness. Follow THAT notion and never let go. Hint: it is not alcohol or ANY OTHER drug or "idol". Of course, if this is nothing but a farce to get press coverage, which I don't believe it is, then that's that. But if it is a real struggle which it is for more people then be strong, believe, and know that you can become someone who is an icon for others to follow to the path of well-being and success. Be the leader whom you always wanted to be and find the source of happiness that will really work to give you all that you want and more. AKA not a drug nor certain types of religion. I am rooting for you! XXXOOO
