I remember so long ago when my first IBM, my husband and myself bought was 4000 dollars. And that came with a whopping 25mg of hard drive and 386 chip just came out and was HOT on the market.

The phone call, the telenetting, and yes the REAL blogging... Thats right folks we called it our Blah Blah Blah logs. We used one long page as a log of our daily life. We never really thought any one would see it, and was gitty if some one ran across it. But thous were the days before directories and search engines.

In fact looking back to those days we really were just surfing in the dark, it was not till we bumped into something that we would explore and find that who we bumped into also found some stuff and gave directions for other explorers.

Ahh yes, the CB days, when all teenagers had to have one, and Smoky and the Bandit  was at large and on the big screen.  But that stuff was for teens, you see, if they stayed up past bed time and used the ham radio, or CB they got caught, but not us 10 year olds lack key kids, as far as anyone knew, we fell asleep playing an Atari game, thats right folks. Atari was the first way to surf the world, and we snot nose before teens were doing it in silence. Screen names, just came from the jump off of CB and Ham Radio...

Im am sure you have guest that yes, in the 70's the internet was alive...  and a group of us was around and still here growing the web.

So why am i going down memory lane. Simply, really just amusing myself. But mostly cause my DSL provider made a switch to use yahoo. and they ask me to write something I know and to share it.

Now I have, and I hope you enjoyed your trip with me down memories lane, and if you would like to visit one of the networks for socializing come visit me and my friends at Single Parents Network .com

Peace
