(I feel good about this)

Its still raining today. Some of the roads are flooded and its so weird to see them like that. Watching water just go under the bridges like raging rivers is so strange, cool but strange. Anyway thanks to the much needed rain I was able to go run some errands and not do yard work. Plus its nice to just watch the rain and feel the coolness of the wind. That smell that comes right after the fall...God its so amazing.

Anyway today Seth has been freaking out because of school. I mentioned eariler that Seth is deciding between schools and he finally chose to go to another school for a semester to see if he likes it. And if it bombs then he'll move back to his old school. And I felt proud when he asked me to help him through the transition. Of course I agreed to help. He's like my kid brother and I love the little idiot.

Mostly I feel best suited for this since I'm going away for school. I'll still be close enough for regular visits so thats good. Also I'll be able to understand how Seth is dealing with all the changes. The new classes, teachers, people and all the hard studying etc. I'm happy that he came to me with this instead of just hiding his emotions like he usually does. I feel useful and like a true friend now. I promised to help him deal with the school, to make sure he stays the same old Seth, and to be there for him when times get tough. And how could I say no to that?
