Teen love

Well I want to be a High School English teacher. Perhaps a guidance counselor. My friend also studying this, at a University 3,000 miles away from me is also studying this. She has a theory and I wanted to post it here. She gave her full consent and so here it is!

"Teenagers are tricky. There are four types of Teen Love, love may be the wrong word, but I like it, so it is my Theory, I get to say what I want. Here they are.

1) They can actually be in love. The I can not live without you, you are my life, I can not see myself with anyone else kind of love. It is not impossible, it happens, but it is rare. If you ever laugh when a teenager tells you they are in love, shame on you, it could be true.

2) They are at a love stage. They are not in love, and they might not fall quickly, but that light sparkle or blissful smile will be there. And they will fall eventually.

3) They like this person, it is not lust, it may have been at one point but it isn't anymore. And whether the other person will fall, is the chance, you have to take.  Whether they are mature enough to handle it, is what we have to decide.

4) Lust. That one word that has set even adults spinning. It is a lot more common for teenagers. There bodies, may crave something more than an adult. They want what they see in the Notebook, or the love bond they see in the Titanic. It is not love, and it will never be love. But it goes in this theory, because the teenager will think it is love.

She sent this to me, to ask me if I had anymore theories. I didn't but do you?
