We won’t know who our next president will be for a little while longer, but we do know which big screen president people enjoy seeing in the oval office.

With Oliver Stone’s “W.” in theaters, the folks at Moviefone polled 1.1 million readers to elect their favorite on-screen president. If life were a movie, Harrison Ford would be ruling the White House, as he did in Air Force One. Morgan Freeman (Deep Impact) was a close runner up, while my personal favorite, the romantic Michael Douglas version (The American President), came in third.

How much influence does Hollywood have on reality? Moviefone editor-in-chief Scott Robson said, "I don’t know if Obama can say Morgan Freeman paved the way, but it hasn’t hurt."

Here’s the complete list:

1. Harrison Ford - “Air Force One” (1997)
2. Morgan Freeman - “Deep Impact” (1998)
3. Michael Douglas - “The American President (1995)
4. Bill Pullman - ”Independence Day“ (1996)
5. Kevin Kline - ”Dave“ (1993)
6. Dennis Quaid - ”American Dreamz“ (2006)
