The Great Escape Begins!

this post will serve as a small introduction to my summer plans, which are set to begin on april 30th.

i was working a pretty important job in manhattan for two years, and somewhere along the way i decided that it was time for a change. i left my cushy job and moved upstate, where i bought a car, and in 8 days i am leaving to embark on a cross-country journey that will hopefully be filled with fashion and fun!

i am titling my journey "adventures in thrifting usa 2008" and the plan is to travel in my car (loretta-louise) to other towns and cities all over america, searching for thrift treasures, and then selling them on ebay to make gas money to continue the journey. too ambitious? you shall soon see.

this blog will be a place to talk about mostly fashion, but also general ways of living across the usa. you can see pictures of what i have found, pictures of cities and towns along the way, and hear my observations on the whole thing. you can also, of course, visit my ebay page to see everything i have found, and maybe even pick something up!
