The power of caulk

Caulking is probably one of the most over looked and inexpensive
energy savors almost any home owner can do there self's.Getting
your caulking done over the warmer seasons is absolute essential to
a good bond. This is not the stuff to skimp on with quality save
your pennies and invest in a good 5 dollar tube , rather than the
stuff that costs about a buck, Do all your windows ,around all of
your vents inside and out and any exposed cracks. if you do not
feel you are neat enough to go free hand with it some thing as
simple as a pen cap can be used to smooth out a nice line. There
are certain types for certain jobs and its important to use a high
heat caulk when sealing heated pipes. Just take your time with it
and make your list thoroughly of any place you think needs it and
enjoy the hundreds of dollars of savings per year that we all
need.
