There's always a hell of a start and a lousy no good finish.

My name is Penn, I'm a lesbian, young enough to climb Mount Everest and old enough to know- never do THAT without an oxygen tank. I am a fan of the outdoors, hoping to start hiking again and maybe pick up my bike for the first time in about two months ( I'm slacking, I know ).  The last time I rode my bike the distance was about 3 miles and about 3/4 of the way through it I was walking my bike and heaving..but I got there. I'm a trooper and what can I say, it's been awhile. However I have run across a few complications on the home front, my jobs seems to always need me and I never have enough time to do anything that I really want to do, and then it dawned on me, I was using all that as an excuse to 'NOT DO IT'. I scheduled a couple extra shifts here and there, and made myself busier so I wasn't always tired and worn out, the outcome- I was always tired and worn out but in the worse way. So I started this morning out with my lab, Maxwell- short for Maxwell, and we walked about a mile or two and then I retreated to work and did everything in oblivion to keep busy. Hopefully I can keep up with this heavy routine, you know I'm just flogging your humor horn, right? Up front and honestly, I'm going to end this with one statement I know to be true "There are two different kinds of people in this world: those who finish what they start, and"- Brad Ramsey.
