One author had it coming by calling out Christian Bale in the way she titled her blog as if people aren't smart enough to read between the fine lines. Well, Yahoo, if you think that American net users are still dumb enough to NOT realize that the media loves to control and shove ideas down the masses throats, wake up!
Just because someone says something that is contrary to the flow of ones blog or what THEY would want said, isn't that the process of freedom of speech being exercised? I don't curse, I don't harrass people, I don't badger them. I sometime have a very sharp tongue and I'm not going to sugar coat it because sometimes authors, repliers and bloggers need to hear the truth either about their subject material or themselves.
If Yahoo is going to start control everything that comes down the pipe, why not gun for people who make blogs for absolutely no reason at all except to waste precious bandwidth? At LEAST us smart, sharp, witty and blunt people have things to say that shape someone else's thought process as opposed to this osmotic "Read what I wroooooooooooooote....it's the right way to thinnnnnnnnnnnnk" process.
It's sad that people get degrees only to lord over a process that doesn't even concern them at the end of the day. Many of you bloggers do the exact same things you criticize stars and everyday citizens for. But make a story about yourSELF? Oh neverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
Yahoo said we can rant right? Let's see how far THIS rant gets because everytime I have something to say, it gets slammed unless I dress it up like a Barbie doll and package it so Curly Sue and Barbara Jean wants it. I love to blog. I do it everyday just about on other sites and this site is WAY more controlling than I have seen others.
Is it the exposure Yahoo has? The all seeing eye got cha guys running from "certain" bloggers or posters? Or do you just plain outright wanna maintain an image not many people care about anyway?
Ok, I'm done. I type way too fast when I drink Starbucks so I need to get back to doing what I was originally....writing a song for my gig next weekend.
get a grip some of you Yahoo authors....you're not the toast of the town.
