Trying to live life

Just trying to live life while my husbands gone. He has been
on a meth ride that has hurt both of us. Meth destroys people not
only the people who use but family that is hurt by the toxic
personality that goes with it. I miss my husband that was
drug free. He was a kind, faithful, loving man who cared
about people and created beautiful art and crafts. He has lost all
of those gifts. I pray for him every day and hope he seeks the help
he so desperately needs before it is too late. Iwould love to
have him home and building our life togeather again. As the
holidays grow closer I am dreading them with out him. all I can do
is have faith and hope and know that God answers prayers.

Report AbuseI completely understand what you are saying. I lost my ex to meth. He was a great guy before it and treated me and our child very well. I still miss him sometimes but I miss who he was and not who his is now. Its been 4 years now and he still has not straigtened up. The last time I saw him about a month ago he was homeless and begging for change. It still hurts but I had my son to think about. As you have your children to think about. Stay strong things will get better.
