TGIF!

For being a research assitant I sure do make a great window paint scrapper and re-furnisher.

I'll explain I suppose. My boss just had his office re-done and it looks fabulous but it still had some things that needed to be done. Two which are refurnishing the desk and the that monstrosity he claims to be a bookcase. The other was getting all the left over paint that splattered all over the windows and the window seal. Basically Heather [co-worker] and I have had a blast, espesically since it has just been us because the warden is on vaction.

This afternoon i'm going to wait for my friend Kayla to get off work and then we are going to pick up our other friend Anne and my boyfriend James and head to Lake Fest. I'm pretty sure none of you have ever heard of it and that is ok because you aren't missing much. For one solid weekend every year in July the entire main street of Clarksville is gated off and hundreds of tourists and regulars browse the street and buy all sorts of things. There are a hundred booths and everyone one of them is filled with tons of stuff you can waste your money on. There are Air Ballon and Helicopter Rides and tons of games for kids to play. I guess the most interesting thing there is the "Sand Castle Masterpiece". Every year a sand artist [if you call them that] comes into town and over night makes a sculpture of something that had to do with Lakefest and Clarksville that year. The only real reason I still go is to see the Fireworks that night. I might live in the middle of no where and we may be the only ones for miles that can see them, but they are gorgeous.

Tommorow I am going to skip one day of Lakefest though. Why? Because James and I have one of our bi-yearly Kings Domion trips. I can not wait we always have such fun.
