Walking for Weightloss

Well, I'm still here.  I didn't run off to food rehab.  The other day I actually walked clear around the country block where I live. My sister-in-law told me that her doctor recommended fish oil for stiff joints and it has really helped her. I've started taking it quite regularly myself. I plan to work on doing more walking. I know exercise is key to weight loss. Wish me luck.

Good for you, Deborah! I'm chubby and determined to get into a smaller size by Christmas. My office mates and I walk on our break at 9 a.m. everymorning. I checked the mileage with my car and it is 9/10 of a mile which we can do in about 16 minutes. Of course, I prespire, but drink a bottle of water and sit in front of the fan at my desk. I'm also watching my portion size, not eating at McDonald's or sweets except on the weekend. We will get there!
