Wanna update Britney’s Facebook? You’ll need a Harvard degree

But unlike Lindsay Lohan who is undoubtedly the writer behind her daily rants, I’ve often wondered how many stars have their publicists and assistants manage their updates.

Britney Spears seldom acknowledges her fans without a watchful eye these days, and she’s currently searching for that perfect person to responsibly control her Twitter feed, Facebook and MySpace page. The catch? You must attend or be a graduate of Harvard.

Britney’s online manager posted a job listing for “Britney Spears 2.0 Media Manager” on a Harvard-only private message board. The Spears camp requires that “you are addicted to social networks such as MySpace and Facebook…You are a popular culture addict and passionate about the intersection of Silicon Valley and Hollywood.”

While we can’t blame Britney for taking extra care with her public image these days, does it really take a high-priced, Ivy League degree to update your Facebook status? So let me get this straight, working your tail off putting yourself through Harvard gets you the chance to work for a drugged out spoiled pop star who probably only has a GED at best. Well, gee I know that's the career I had in mind when I put myself through college...blogging for a half-wit. Give me a break.

    To Dan.Noriega:

Probably not since she has to have someone log in and do it for her LOL

I mean, who doesn't have 3 minutes of time a day to manage their own social network.

i like britney. perhaps not her music, but i think she is a woman struggling with her identity every single day. we all make mistakes, hers are just picked apart and analyzed to no end. it's not fair. why do we judge people so much? especially celebrities. who cares if she does/doesn't even have a GED. who cares! if i could have that job, i would take it. you don't know how satisfying it may or not be. even if it wasn't, it's could still be a fun experience. i think if everyone could stop picking people apart, the world would be a little bit better!
