  Hi jdp,

  I'm so sorry to hear about your beautiful yellow lab :(

  We had to put Levi - our family black lab - down in April. She too, was 13 years old. She unfortunately fell getting out of the car (oddly it was on a ride back from the doggy dermatologist) and turned her leg in a way that would never heal correctly even with the right surgery. It also meant more meds and the poor girl was already on a lot of meds as it was. It was unanimous that she was hurting terribly and that we had to put her down. It was hard for our family, but I can honestly say that she looked like her young, happy, puppy self at the moment she passed.

  JDP, my heart goes out to you. A pet is a family member and sometimes, I know I liked my cat better than my teenagers. Your attitude is fantastic. I think any woman that thinks of others in her time of saddness and grief and puts up a post for a PET MEMORIAL is someone that the HR depts should be fighting to get. You have versatle, have excellent communication skills and are multitalented.

  Brenda, how can I get the blog title in the daily search list? It comes up in search when typing "pet obit" as keyword, but it's not on the daily or weekly list.
