  Definitely on the list is a job. And a penis. Other than that, it's hard to say because everybody is soooo different. Just be yourself and love will creep up on you when u least expect it.

  not everyone has an ideal man in mind. There needs to be a chemistry that makes your skin flush when combined. Don't share all you have right away...keep some some for later...some mystery is good.

  What do you mean when you say THE OLD FASHION WAY? where women were just supposed to comply and go along with whatever a man says? When a woman could not have an opinion or her own thoughts?

  Sure it was a lot easier in the OLD fashion days when women couldn't survive in the world without a man, and men were allowed to do as they pleased, knowing their wife would be submissive and was trapped - for lack of a better word. now that women actually have a SAY SO, they are now high maintenance bitches for vocalizing their opinions and not settling for some A**hole that doesn't deserve them in the first place.

  I think everyone has their own criteria they look for in a significant other, in some way - shape or form.

  Male or female. Its just human nature.

  It may not necessarily be a list; but there is usually some specific things that each individual is looking for in a potential mate/partner.

  Everyone has a preference, and everyone's different.

  That is such a broad question that some girls might not be able to answer it. For instance, I have a guy in my mind that i would love to meet and be with one day, but honestly I doubt it. Yea it is nice to think that one day a guy will come that meets your exact measure but its not really common. And for the people that do have it work in thier favor then congrats to them. It is really hard to find that absolutely perfect guy but yea, some girls do live thier lives looking for them, others just look for whatever they thing will subsitute for them.   We,just like you, have learned from past relationships what we like or won't put up with.For most, the father/daughter relationship is a major factor in what we think a man should be,good or bad.A good father sets the standard of what we look for in a future mate.A bad father teaches us ether directly or indirectly what a mate should'nt be.So,to answer your question,YES, we have a list but so does all man kind,thanks in part to their relationship with their mothers.
