WHAT TYPE OF CRAP R PEOPLE SHOVING DOWN YOUNG GIRLS THROATS????

MY SISTER IS THIRTEEN YEARS OLD, SHE'S A REALLY GOOD STUDENT SHE'S GOT A DECENT AMOUNT OF FRIENDS AND SHE WATCHES WAY TO MUCH MTV. WELL LAST WEEK I JUST GOT HOME FROM WORK TO FIND HER IN THE BATHROOM WITH A FINGER DOWN HER THROAT I OF COURSE STOPPED HER RIGHT AWAY AND PULLED HER ASIDE TO TALK TO HER. SHE THINKS SHE'S FAT AND DOESN'T THINK SHE'S PRETTY. IT ANGERS ME BECAUSE SOCIETY IS DRILLING IT IN THESE GIRL'S MINDS THAT TO BE WANTED AND ATTRACTIVE YOU HAVE TO A: BE DEATHLY THIN B:HAVE OVERLY GINORMOUS BREASTS AND C: WEAR TIGHT OVERLY REVEALING CLOTHING. EVERYONES BEAUTIFUL IN THEIR OWN WAY AND I DON'T THINK ANYONE HAS THE RIGHT TO TELL WOMEN AND GIRLS HOW THEY SHOULD LOOK. IT RUINS THEIR SELF ESTEEM FOR NO GOOD REASON, AND SOMETIMES PRESSURES THEM TO DO BAD THINGS TO THEIR BODIES OR SPEND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO MAKE THEM SELVES LOOK "BETTER" I SAY IF U BELIEVE GOD MADE US ALL THE WAY WE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE EVERYONE'S BEAUTIFUL AND I'LL BE DAMNED IF I'M GONNA LET SOME GOD AWFUL TELEVISION SHOW MAKE MY SISTER AND ANY OTHER GIRL FEEL BAD ABOUT THEM SELF.

Sianna, How ya doin' today girl? I totally agree there is too much junk out there aimed toward young girls & women. You see skinny girls in magazines, on television, movies, billboards everywhere, really.......girls think they should look like these people in order to be happy or whatever. All these companies are making a lot of money, and we as women have to tell the next generation what is more important, inside beauty lasts alot longer than outside beauty. It's good looking out for your little sis.

I'm confused.... so do you and you sister have eating disorders? I think that you (and her) should seek help. You have obviously been through and are going through a lot and if you see that your younger sister is following in your footsteps then maybe you can help her by helping yourself.
