At work, we use a computer to schedule appts., recieve lab
results, email.
15 years ago, we used a book to schedule appt. The lab
results would be mailed and took longer to recieve. The office
would have to call if you needed to talk with someone from a
different office.
We use a digital scale to check weight, a digital thermometer to
check temperatures.
We used to have to manually check weight, and manually check temps
before computers.
The lab uses a machine to analyis specium to get a diagnosis. Years
ago, a person had to read each specium under a microscope to get a
diagnosis.
