Who's helping the seniors who don't have lot's of money for their residential care housing???

If a senior does not have pensions or retirement funds; who is going to help them when it's time to find adequate housing? I'm surprised that some of them end up at snf facilities and have medical /medicare insurance paying for their care; when they don't really need the stepped up service.  They would have a good diagnosis and they end up staying. This is why we have to come up with a better way to service our seniors.  The California ALWPP program is a good why they are starting helping seniors and matching funds to provide them great housing.

I am retired, but do not qualify for any Gov,t help, and cannot afford insurance. At present, it's cheaper for me to die than to sek health care in any way, shape or form! Hear me chillun! DIE befo' ya get old!
