Why i hate school.

I hate school because it dominates our life. Seriously. They say "children are our future." and "High school shapes the rest of your life." but I am seriously concerned if the future, if my life, is nothing but texbooks and endless, stressful studying. We spend 7 hrs of every day in school, (I spend) 11 hrs sleeping, and 1 hr getting ready for school. That gives us roughly 5 hrs of free time every day. Even this isn't good enough for our teachers. We just can't have that to ourselves, so they invented this little thing called homework. Homework is an invasion of our personal space. Teachers give us homework that take anywhere from 1-4 hours to complete. That gives us exactly 1 hour to have dinner. I see the purpose of school. the purpose of school is to give us skills that we will need later in life. but teachers have lost site of this. They see us needing information not learned, but pounded into our skulls like shrapnel from a gun. I look into the world and see myself getting jobs and promotions by using social skills. I think school shoudlt teach us to be outgoing, creative, rational, and not shy. Those are the skills that we really need if we are going to challenge the board of education when we grow up.
