Why we feel bad for Tori Spelling

We know what you’re thinking: she’s totally rich and blessed that her producer daddy, Aaron Spelling, hooked her up with an acting career as Donna Martin on 90210. But even given every privilege, poor Tori Spelling still can’t catch a break! First of all, her mom, Candy, wedged her way between Tori and her father and after he died she kept Tori from getting his $500 million estate so Tori had to sell her stuff on eBay. If anyone ever caught her semi-biographical sitcom, So NoTORIous (which was kind of hilarious, by the way), you could tangibly feel the hurt her satirical mom brought on. Awww.

What else sucks about being Tori Spelling? No one cares about your projects (see: So NoTORIOUS). Did you even know she has a new show, Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood (the season finale is August 12) on Oxygen? (It's actually her third season with a rotating title—the network, it's been said, is desperate for content.) The poor thing made her husband dress up as the other half of celebrity couples they’ll never be as famous as for a music video airing on the show (check the embarrassing pics out below). That’s rough. Oh yeah, and let’s not forget the recent tragic death of her beloved pooch, Mimi La Rue. None of this however casts a shadow on the utter humiliation that once again Tori is getting upstaged by costars Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth on the upcoming remake of 90210, her departed daddy’s show. Say it with us now: poor Tori. We're really rooting for her, too.

I guess all your articles are required to be catty so you get more responses. Your article is the only thing that makes me feel bad for "poor Tori". I would comment on a nice article on her or anyone else. Give tori a break, she has worked hard to make her own money. Shame on you.

oh and one more thing, so she and her husband were married. Shes not the only one, the first one or the last one to make the mistake of marrying the wrong man and finding the right one. Brad Pitt did the same thing when he left his wife for Angelina and so on. Life goes on and Tori is trying to make the best of it. Leave her alone.

I don't feel sorry for her, I feel sorry for anyone that sees her for less of a person because her family has some money, she's an icon for her talent and personality, something money can't buy, BUT she earned money for...It's nice to see someone in Hollywood working hard, and making it, with even tons of critics not making it an easy way.

It does suck that she can't inheret anything, but don't put her down. I watched the first two seasons of her reality show, and was entertaining. Now I'm watching Home Sweet Hollywood and that's good too. At least she is making things happen for herself. What has Shannen Doherty done except some lame ass show where she breaks up relationships for ppl. That sh** lasted less than a week. Tori has three seasons and a new book under her belt, and still coming strong. I don't feel sorry for her, I feel sorry for you. You're the pathetic one. What in the hell have you done lately? How about you get over yourself and do something with your life and stay outta people's business? No one likes a negative b---- . Obviously you're jealous of Tori.

I don't fee sorry for Tori. She is a strong woman who has learned to stand on her own two feet in spite of her mom. She may have the star power of Jessica Simpson...but at least Tori has a brain. I say Bravo Tori.

Let me start by saying I freakin' hate celebrities, but the few times I've flipped to Tori's show -- I think she's sweet. I think she doesn't get press anymore because she's not overly dramatic (or particularly attractive). She and her husband love each other and they have an adorable family. I can't believe I'm saying this about a celebrity, but she seems like good people.

You need to find something else to do with your time, instead of insulting others. I love Tori, and I love her husband too. They both seem like such nice people and I for the record, had heard that their show was airing in August. Shame on you for insulting her.
