Will and Jada to open Scientology based school—deny religious affiliation

One of your favorite celebs, Will Smith, and his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith are opening private school New Village Academy this fall.  While the school will use study technology, the instructional methods of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard, the couple claim the facility has no religious affiliation. "We are a secular school, and just like all nonreligious independent schools, faculty and staff do not promote their own religions at school or pass on the beliefs of their particular faith to children," says New Village Academy director Jacqueline Olivier. Despite the fact Will and Jada are attached at the hip to Tom Cruise and Scientology-bot Katie Holmes, they insist they are not Scientologists. Several teachers on board at the school are however are members of the church. As for classes, students can expect yoga, robotics and etiquette in addition to traditional courses.
