What do you think???? Terrence Howard is being replaced by Don
Cheadle in "IRON MAN 2"
Ok so on Yahoo Entertainment News there is a post
about how "Many people were stunned by the news last week
that Don Cheadle, and
not Terrence Howard, would be playing the
role of James "Rhodey" Rhodes in "Iron Man 2." None more
so, apparently, than Terrence Howard
himself". here

I am socked at this switch!!!!
Robert Downey Jr. and Terrence Howard had such a good chemistry
in
the original Iron Man, so i am not
understanding this switch????
My question is this do you all think
this is the best move by the studios or could this

harm the movie???

Report AbuseI don't think it could harm the movie - Don Cheadle is a great asset to any film. Terrence Howard IS a bit "blah". But I don't think his charachter is going to make or break the next movie either.

Report AbuseI think it's a big mistake. You are completely right about the chemistry between the two. I don't see that happening with Cheadle. I like Cheadle as an actor, but Howard fits the part so much better. I read in one of the sites that supposidly a money issue. But Iron Man was the biggest blockbuster of the summer, wasn't it? I just don't understand the change, I'm definately not happy with it as a Marvel fan. Just like I wasn't sure about Ed Norton doing The HULK, but he was excellent as the alter ego. Maybe Cheadle will suprise us too, but there's rumor that Iron Man's sidekick is supposed to go off and have his own movie. It's Terrance Howard's time. He's a great actor, and the change in chemistry on Iron Man 2 will just mess up the groove. Or am I being too critical?

Report AbuseTerrence Howard was made for the part of War Machine, come on! Don Cheadle is a good actor, but i don't think I can imagine him kickin A-- as War Machine. Im sad.
