10 Year Old Burned By Tanning Bed

This may make you mad.

A 10-year-old Welsh girl named Kelly Thompson spent 16 minutes in a tanning bed and suffered burns over 70% of her body. If she had stayed in the bed for two more minutes, she would have needed skin grafts, according to the Daily Mail. The girl has been told to stay out of the "direct sunlight" for 10 years because her skin is now much more susceptible to skin cancer.

10 years! It's like she became a vampire.

Where were her parents? Well, if you check out the photo of Kelly's mom, she was probably off tanning someplace.

It was a coin-operated tanning salon, which means it was unattended. That can't be a good thing. But why would a ten-year-old even consider going to a tanning salon?
