Now, I am not condemning drinking in anyway. I just believe that there is an appropriate time and place for it, and getting wasted in front of kids at a public playground is just....I don't really know what word I'm looking for, but it's not a good one. I don't know, maybe these moms are just depressed, or maybe they have some other deeper issues. Am I the only one seeing this happening, or has anybody else experienced anything like this as well?

Report AbuseThis is sad to hear, but it might just be a growing trend. With the way the economy is going, we might see more of this type of behavior amongst most parents. My ex-parent is an alcoholic and I am glad she did not show up to the park drunk, she stayed home and was drunk there, when I was a kid.
I agree with Big Ron, the fact that the Mothers are drunk at the park, leaves open for a lot of bad thing to happen. Cause the Mothers are going to be to busy being drunk, they will forget to check on their kids.
Have a good evening.

Report AbusePublic intoxication is against the law. I would call the police if I saw that. Hopefully, it would be traumatic enough to give these mothers the initiative to seek help. Plus, any mother that is drunk with their child present is being neglectful.
