As the holiday's draw near, and I have 4 kids to do Christmas
for, the stress begins...lol...my boys are 15 14 and 8, my little
girl is 3..(she will be easy)...I hate that I cannot always get
them just what they want..every year it's the same thing, bills
take priority over gifts..But the other day my son's both told
me..that they would rather see the two little one's get things
than them, and they would rather have all our bills paid than have
me buy things I cannot afford and be stressing about the bills the
next month...
Wow, I did a darn good job here...and we agreed that as long as we
are all together that's what matters!!!..my two younger
children were in foster care for a bit, actually 1 year and 3
months...(for reasons I won't go into here) and my older
son's and I missed 2 Christmas' with them..So this year..we
are just so happy to be a healthy family again..to watch our little
girl laugh and be potty trained, to watch my 8 yr old son do well
in reading..
So for all you single mom's out there who stress about the
Holiday's...DON'T...don't do it..pay the bills, cook a
great dinner, buy a few gifts, and REALLY REALLY be thankful that
your beautiful, smiling, crying, fighting kids are home with
you...because the alternative...to have them somewhere else, with
someone else. IS THE MOST HEART BREAKING thing I ever went through.
I appreciate my kid's so much today, the good and the
bad...Thank you Lord...for our Family..and let others be thankful
as well..
