Caitlin Joi Reed born at 25wks 4days
Truly a miracle. Never give up hope, or on your faith.
Mommy's home for 28 long days and 28 even longer nights.
At the 21st week of the pregnancy Mommy's cervix became incompetent, she was suddenly dilated 4cm and my water bag was coming out. This is the day we decided we would beat all odds. The Dr told her she was having her baby and that I would not be viable- they asked if she wanted the Chaplin to come sit with her. Mommy decided that that was NOT what was going to happen. She had to take a lot of awful medicines, they made her violently ill, jittery, migraine, insomnia and the list goes on. The hardest part though was being home sick and watching Gracie miss her mommy. Two weeks into her hospital stay her water broke, we made it two more weeks until finally she spiked a fever (a sign of infection). So she was then induced to full labor.

Report AbuseSophie, this makes me cry. There truly is a God, if anyone doubts this miracle erases it. What a lovely girl, what a lovely mother.
