The actress and her husband want their daughter, Honor, to have a sibling — soon.

Jessica Alba and Cash Warren spent a romantic date weekend in Vegas at the end of October, and friends say the couple, who’ve been married for 18 months, are hoping to expand their happy little family and planned the getaway to spice up their love life.
“They decided to make a special weekend out of going to see the U2 concert in Vegas,” a pal tells BettyConfidential. “They danced and sang along in the audience on Saturday night before they took a private hard-hat tour of the new Hard Rock Hotel Tower that’s opening in December. They were holding hands and very affectionate the whole time – they are still in love!”
After looking at real estate, Jessica, 28, and Cash, 30, hit the casino. “Cash convinced Jess it would be good to be a little wild, so they hit the high-limit gaming tables at the Hard Rock’s casino another night,” the insider says. “They stayed up late and even caught the Steve Miller Band concert. It was important for them to get away from their busy and ordered days. Jessica can be a bit of a drill sergeant at home, so this weekend was a blast for Cash, and Jess had fun, too!”
The pal says that the couple, who met on the set of 2005’s Fantastic Four, have had their ups and downs in the past but are now happier than ever and hoping to have a little brother or sister for their daughter, Honor, 17 months.
Jessica has said that motherhood “is the best thing ever,” and the pal says she is a doting mom.
“Cash and Jess are in a great place. They’re feeling very settled and comfortable,” the insider says. “Jessica has really put her foot down with a lot of Cash’s bad habits and he is OK with it. He enjoys the home life that Jess has created for him and Honor and he loves their little family. They feel like it’s about time they added a baby brother or sister for Honor and that’s their next big step.”
