School is back in session and with school, returns stress for many
families. Some kids feel unsafe at school while others children
just need some different options and some kids are missing too
mcuch school due to sports and travel. Many moms and kids are
thinking more about homeschooling.
Homeschooling can be a good option for many families but sometime
the expense or time requirements for moms are just too costly.
There is away to homeschool for free....
Over on Take Control of Your Education, you will find a list
of free homeschool programs. Connections Academy, K-12 and Kaplan
are funded much in the same way that public schools are
funded.
The school provides, textbooks, materials and often times a loaner
laptop and an internet connection stipend. Students are assigned a
teacher to oversee their education. And parents spend time helping
their children, much like they do with regular homework.
If you haven't looked into homeschooling lately, and you think it
might be a good fit for your child...it's time to do some
more research.
