  That is interesting, where did you hear that? I have a child with mild Autism and I have anxiety and used to have depression. My mother is psychotic (I am not kidding), and my grandmother had schizophrenia. My kids certainly didn't win the genetic lottery.

  I think the study was that kids with autism are MORE LIKELY to have parents with mental illness than the general population. It's not a 100% thing.

  I was making a joke .... I do that often to mask the pain of my everyday life.

  OMG ... I do not have 1 cat let alone 68 or 35 cats ... GAAAWWWD!

  It was a joke people.

  My son has autism ... I am not a RETARD ... nor do own cats ... I was making a joke to hide the pain of my days with my little boy that suffers from this awful thing called autism.
